The building itself is modern without being flashy, which I appreciated after seeing some of the more over-the-top places in Sydney.

Here’s where this place really shines — the location is genuinely spectacular. I could walk to the ICC in under five minutes (perfect if you’re here for a conference), and Chinatown is just across the Pyrmont Bridge. What I loved most was being able to stroll along the harbour at sunset, then pop back for a quick rest before heading out to dinner. The light rail stop is practically at your doorstep, so getting to Central Station or the CBD is effortless. Couples seem to get this — I noticed plenty of them taking advantage of the romantic harbour walks right outside.

The Accommodation

My room was spacious and well-thought-out, with floor-to-ceiling windows that made the most of those harbour glimpses. Plus, having both the casino and the fish markets within walking distance gives you options, whether you’re feeling lucky or just want the freshest seafood in town.
