The hotel itself has this solid, unpretentious vibe that I really appreciated. It’s a proper 4-star setup without trying too hard to be fancy, if that makes sense.

The location is actually pretty smart when you think about it. You’re close enough to walk to Westfield Parramatta if you need to grab something (about 10 minutes on foot), and the Parramatta River walk is literally right there – which is lovely in the mornings before the day gets too hot. I stayed here during a particularly busy period in spring, and while the hotel felt occupied, it never felt cramped or noisy. The rooms face different directions, so depending on where you end up, you might catch glimpses of the river or look out toward the suburban streets. Nothing spectacular view-wise, but it’s pleasant enough. The free parking thing is genuinely useful – it’s secure, undercover, and you don’t have to stress about feeding meters or finding a spot on the street.
