Sydney Cosmopolitan CBD Apartment Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Sydney Cosmopolitan CBD Apartment on Bathurst Street, you immediately get that “I made the right choice” feeling. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Sydney‘s business district, but honestly — it doesn’t feel corporate or stuffy at all. The building has this modern, sleek vibe that somehow manages to feel welcoming rather than intimidating. I mean, when a place scores 9.7 from guests, you know they’re doing something right.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally steps away from everything that matters in Sydney’s CBD. Darling Harbour is a quick walk south, and you can easily stroll to Circular Quay for those iconic harbour views. The apartment building sits in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to the action but far enough from the tourist chaos. Couples absolutely rave about this area (they’ve rated the location a perfect 10), and I get it — there’s something romantic about having the entire city at your doorstep while still having a quiet retreat to come back to.
The Space Itself
What sets this place apart is that you’re not getting a cramped hotel room — you’re getting an actual apartment with space to breathe. The kitchen is properly equipped, which is brilliant if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the nearby markets or just make coffee the way you like it. The living areas feel genuinely livable, not like someone just threw furniture into a space and called it done. You know what really impressed me? The attention to detail in the furnishings — everything feels thoughtfully chosen rather than bulk-ordered from a hotel supply catalog.
Morning Routine
The continental breakfast setup works well for most people, though honestly, with that kitchenette at your disposal, you might find yourself wanting to explore the local café scene instead. Sydney’s coffee culture is legendary, and there are some fantastic spots within a two-minute walk. That said, having the breakfast option gives you flexibility on those mornings when you just want to fuel up quickly and get exploring. The timing works out perfectly if you’re planning early visits to the Opera House or harbour bridge climb.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.9 location rating isn’t just about proximity — it’s about having options. You can walk to work meetings, stroll to weekend markets, catch a show at the theatre district, or grab dinner in Chinatown without needing transport. The apartment-style setup means you’re not living out of a suitcase, which makes a huge difference for stays longer than a couple nights. Plus, there’s something satisfying about having your own space in one of the world’s most expensive cities without paying premium hotel prices. The combination of that central location with actual living space — rather than just a place to sleep — is what keeps bringing people back.
Hotel in Sydney reservations spike before Mardi Gras parades, so revelers secure rooms months in advance.

Fabulous location, v comfy apartment and excellent host. – Emma from United Kingdom (10/10)
Patrick is a very genial host, who kindly met us at our day hotel down the road and helped us to the flat with our luggage and is on hand for any query without being intrusive. The fridge was stocked with an amazing array of breakfast options for our 5 day stay, thank you.
Location is fantastic (particularly as new Metro just opened) so Light Rail, Metro and Trains all just round the corner, and the lap pool must be 30m long and very handy for swimming off the jet lag! Thoroughly recommended.Exceptional – Michael from Australia (10/10)
Fantastic location, wonderful host. Will definitely return.

Fantastic location. Patrick was the perfect host and met us when we came in at 8.30pm. We had the most amazing breakfast ingredients left for us. Love the furnishings which was eclectic and gorgeous. Also the beautiful collection of plates, glasses etc to use.

The apartment was lovely and the balcony was amazing! The location was great as well! Very close so we were able to walk to the opera house and the Bridge!
Great Location – Machelle from United States of America (9/10)
The apartment was absolutely fantastic. Centrally located to public transportation. I wish I had more time to stay. Unfortunately, because we were on the go everyday; didn't have the opportunity to partake in the breakfast.
