The location is actually brilliant if you think about it – I mean, you’ve got the T1 Western Line right there, which gets you to Central in about 20 minutes, and honestly, after spending a day dealing with crowds in the CBD, coming back to this quiet residential street feels like a proper retreat. The bedrooms are genuinely roomy (none of that cramped hotel nonsense), and there’s something really satisfying about having a proper kitchen when you want to grab groceries from the Woolies downstairs at Westfield instead of paying hotel restaurant prices. The park across the way – that’s Burwood Park, by the way – is perfect for morning walks, and it’s where all the locals walk their dogs, so you get this nice neighborhood vibe that you’d never experience staying in the city center.
