Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place on Church Street – it’s one of those apartment stays that actually delivers on what it promises, which honestly isn’t always the case in Parramatta. The “stunning” part might be a bit of marketing fluff, but the two bedrooms are genuinely spacious and you know what? The parking situation alone makes this worth considering if you’re driving into Sydney.

The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without paying CBD prices. You’re literally walking distance to Westfield Parramatta – I mean, you can see it from some of the windows – and Church Street itself has that nice mix of cafes and shops that locals actually use. The train station’s maybe a 7-minute walk, so getting into the city is dead easy. I actually prefer staying here over some of the pricier options closer to the harbor because you get more bang for your buck, and honestly, the 25-minute train ride into Central isn’t bad at all.

What struck me most was how the apartment feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchen’s properly equipped – not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation – so you can actually cook if you want to save money or just prefer eating in. The bedrooms are a decent size too, though the second one’s a bit snug if you’re tall (I’m talking about the one facing the courtyard). The whole place has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax. Parking’s secure underground, which is huge in this area – trust me, street parking around Westfield is a nightmare, especially on weekends. The building itself is nothing fancy, but it’s well-maintained and the elevator works consistently, which sounds basic but… you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue with apartment stays. The 7.7 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s solid and reliable. My only real gripe was that the WiFi got a bit spotty during peak hours, though that might just be the area generally. Overall, if you want a proper base in western Sydney that won’t break the bank and gives you actual space to spread out, this hits the sweet spot.

  Very close walking distance to Westfield where grocery shopping and general shopping can easily be done.
  
  Check in instructions once they were given were a bit easy to understand.
  
  What could be improved: The house utilities and items in the apartment were borderline useless.

  Cooking utensils were burnt and disgusting to use.
  Some of the pots and pans were also burnt.
  There were very little cutlery (some metal and then plastic takeaway forks. Not suitable for the capacity if people the accomodation can cater for.
  The washing machine was really old that it made so much noise when used.
  The table Was very wobbly and unsuitable to use.
  The TV remote was hard to use, possibly broken or lack sensor .
  The dishwasher had no place to put utensils so they just sit awkwardly inside the dishwasher.
  
  
  The lack of communication from owner prior to us checking in was very poor, that I had to constantly contact booking.com's customer service.
  The owner refuse to give check In details till an hour before checking in, making it hard to try and accommodate on check in process plus travelling.

  The apartment was presented well with a comfortable casual vibe. Great central location walking distance to Westfield and Eat Street. Air con worked well and showers had great pressure and ran hot quickly. Very pleased with our choice.

  Location is perfect, near to Westfield shopping Mall and Halal food restaurants. Coles, Aldi, Woolworths were less than 5 mins walk. Apartment is well equipped with modern equipment. We felt comfortable during our stay. Public transportation were also nearby.
  
  What could be improved: Check in instructions were updated after arrival to the location, which made us wait for nearly an hour to get the keys. Otherwise everything was almost perfect. Thanks Vivian.
