Stunning Apartment With High-Level Views
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of Sydney places, but this apartment on Murray Street actually caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. You know when you book something called “Stunning Apartment With High-Level Views” and you’re thinking, yeah right, probably some tiny window facing a brick wall? Well, honestly, they weren’t kidding about the views here. I’m talking proper harbor glimpses and city skyline stuff that makes you want to camp out on the balcony with your morning coffee.
The location is what really gets me though. Murray Street puts you right in the thick of things without being on one of those crazy busy strips like George Street where you can’t sleep past 6 AM. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Wynyard Station – I timed it because I’m obsessive like that – which means you can actually get around without dealing with Sydney’s parking nightmare. And here’s something locals know: you’re close enough to walk to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, but far enough from Circular Quay that you won’t be fighting tourist crowds every time you step outside. The building itself feels solid, none of that paper-thin wall situation you get in some newer developments, and the elevator actually works (small victories, right?).
What surprised me most was how much space they managed to squeeze out of the layout. I mean, Sydney apartments aren’t exactly known for being generous with square footage, but this one feels like someone actually thought about how people live. The kitchen isn’t just for show – you can actually cook a proper meal without bumping into everything. The bedroom setup works whether you’re traveling solo or with someone, and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of a suitcase the whole time. The bathroom has decent water pressure too, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but here we are. One thing worth mentioning – and this might sound weird – but the place stays surprisingly quiet for being in the CBD. I was expecting traffic noise and construction chaos, but the windows must be decent quality because I slept through most nights without issue. Check-in was straightforward, no waiting around or confusing key situations. The 9.1 rating makes sense once you’re actually there; it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, it’s just a really solid place that does what it promises. For Sydney prices, especially in this area, you’re getting genuine value rather than paying premium for location alone.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
