Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of Manly accommodations over the years, and this place on Cliff Street actually gets it right. The moment you walk into this 4-bedroom apartment, you realize someone put real thought into making it feel like home rather than just another rental property. The fireplace was honestly a surprise – I mean, you don’t expect that in a beach town, but those Sydney winter evenings can get pretty crisp, and there’s something ridiculously cozy about having a fire going while you can still hear the waves in the distance.

The balcony is where you’ll probably spend most of your time, and I get why. It’s got this perfect angle where you catch the morning sun without getting completely blasted later in the day. You’re literally two minutes from the beach – and I actually timed it because I’m that kind of person – but here’s what’s really clever about the location: you’re just far enough up Cliff Street to dodge most of the weekend crowds and late-night noise from the Corso. The bath is one of those deep ones where you can actually soak properly, which honestly felt like a luxury after long days exploring the Northern Beaches. You know what I appreciated? The apartment doesn’t try to be overly fancy, but everything works perfectly. The kitchen has proper knives (hotel people will understand this struggle), the wifi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and there’s actually enough hot water for four people to shower without someone getting stuck with an arctic blast.

What really sold me on this place was how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re close enough to walk to Manly Wharf when you want to head into the city, but you’re also perfectly positioned to explore the coastal walk toward Shelly Beach – which, by the way, is absolutely worth doing at sunrise when the light hits the water just right. The apartment building itself is quiet, and parking wasn’t the nightmare I expected it to be. I stayed here during peak season and still managed to find spots on the street most days. The whole setup just works for groups – whether you’re traveling with family or friends, there’s enough space that people aren’t tripping over each other, but it’s cozy enough that you actually want to hang out together rather than scatter to separate corners. That 9.7 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen; it’s earned through those small details that make you want to recommend the place to people you actually care about.

  The house was great, suited us perfectly, very clean. Location excellent
  
  What could be improved: A few instructions for tv would have been helpful, even though I am quite savvy, struggled to get tv to work , eventually able to cast from my phone. Perhaps that was all. Ditto dish washer. Eventually got it to work but more luck than good judgement.
