So I stumbled across this place on Pittwater Road and honestly, the name doesn’t do it justice – yeah, it’s sleek and yes, you’ve got two bedrooms, but what really gets me is how ridiculously close you are to everything that matters in Manly. I’m talking about rolling out of bed and being at the beach in literally two minutes. Not “walking distance to beach” like most places claim – I mean you can hear the surf from the apartment.

The thing about this spot is it sits right in that sweet zone where you’re close enough to the Corso to grab your morning coffee (there’s this little place called Barefoot Coffee that locals queue up for), but far enough from the weekend chaos that you actually get some sleep. The apartment itself has that modern coastal vibe without being too sterile – you know how some places feel like a showroom? This doesn’t. The bedrooms are properly sized, not those cramped afterthoughts you sometimes get in beach rentals, and the kitchen actually has decent bench space, which matters if you’re planning to cook anything more elaborate than toast.

What I really appreciated was the practical stuff that nobody mentions in reviews. Parking is sorted – huge relief in Manly where finding a spot can be a nightmare, especially during summer. The building’s quiet, probably because it’s not right on the main strip where backpackers stumble home at 3am. And the 8.2 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, just genuinely comfortable and well-located. The walk to Manly Wharf takes about five minutes, so you can actually ditch the car and ferry hop to Circular Quay when you want to hit the city. Plus, if you’re into the whole Northern Beaches thing, you can easily drive up to Freshwater or Curl Curl – though honestly, with Manly Beach right there, you might not bother. The only thing that might bug some people is that it’s not beachfront, so no ocean views from your bed, but given how close you are to everything and the fact that you’re not paying resort prices, that feels like a pretty fair trade-off.

  Excellent location with easy access to the best Manly can offer but slightly away from the masses.
  
  What could be improved: We stayed for 2 weeks and did not have cleaning or change of towels/bed linen. Yes there’s a washing machine but for what we have paid I would have expected the place to be cleaned, at least once a week.

  What could be improved: It was probably just the small things that would have made it a more comfortable stay I.e – like only 2 wine glasses – we had 4 people sharing one bottle of wine one dinner night- no tea bag’s except green (sorry that’s not my cup of tea) 2pods for the coffee machine no soap or shampoo or paper towels and few tissues- just everyday items that are annoying to have to buy for such a short stay- the price we paid would have warranted the few extra items. The bed was conformable but but squeaked on one side – annoying for the other person when wanting to go to bathroom at night – change the mat it looked dirty as soon as we came in – but I can only hope it was due to the colour white!
