Two proper bedrooms, both with decent natural light, and the bathrooms are clean and modern without being flashy. The WiFi is solid – I had zero issues working from the dining table (though honestly, who wants to work with that view?). What really sold me was the parking situation. Look, anyone who’s driven around Sydney knows that finding a spot can be a nightmare, especially in areas this close to the water. Having guaranteed parking meant I could actually explore without that constant worry about where to leave the car.

The location is pretty sweet too – you’re in what feels like a residential neighborhood, so it’s quiet at night, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. There’s a decent café about a five-minute walk away that does proper flat whites, and the ferry wharf isn’t far if you want to avoid driving into the city center. I mean, the traffic around here can get pretty intense during rush hour, but that’s Sydney for you. The building itself is well-maintained, nothing fancy but clean and secure. Check-in was straightforward – no waiting around in lobbies or dealing with front desk drama. Just got the keys and settled in. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel experience, which honestly worked perfectly for me. For the price point and that 8.8 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises – a comfortable base with genuine water views and all the practical stuff sorted out.
