The kitchen’s well-stocked too – not just the bare minimum most rental places throw in. I actually cooked a few meals instead of bleeding money at cafes every day. The Wi-Fi works properly (tested it on multiple video calls), and there’s decent water pressure in the shower, which honestly matters more than people admit when you’re sandy and salty from the beach.

Here’s the thing about the location – it’s close enough to Bondi that you can walk there easily, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the absolute chaos of Campbell Parade on weekends. You know how that strip gets, especially in summer. This spot gives you breathing room while still being in the thick of things. The bus connections are solid if you want to explore other beaches or head into the city. Parking’s not terrible either, though I’d still recommend walking to the beach during peak times because, well, it’s Bondi and everyone’s trying to park near the sand.

The host was pretty responsive when I had questions, and check-in was straightforward – none of that awkward waiting around wondering if you’re at the right building. The whole place feels clean and well-maintained, not like some rentals where you’re afraid to look too closely at the corners. I stayed during a busy period in February and honestly didn’t have noise issues, which was a pleasant surprise. The building seems solid, and being on the top floor means you’re not hearing footsteps above you.

One small thing – the place gets warm in the afternoon sun, but there’s decent airflow and fans, so it’s manageable. Actually made me appreciate those morning beach walks even more. The rating of 9.2 makes sense to me; it’s not luxury resort level, but it delivers exactly what you want from a Bondi base without the pretentious markup. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a proper home rather than a sterile hotel room, and you want to experience Bondi like someone who actually lives in the area rather than just passing through, this place hits the mark.
