Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Premium Apartments Chatswood,” I was expecting another cookie-cutter serviced apartment situation. But walking into this place on Archer Street actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked right in the heart of Chatswood, which means you’re literally a two-minute walk from the train station (seriously, I timed it), and the whole Westfield shopping madness is right there if that’s your thing. But here’s what I really loved – despite being so central, the apartments themselves feel surprisingly calm once you’re inside.
The thing about Chatswood is that it can get pretty hectic, especially during lunch hours when all the office workers descend on the food courts, but this building sits just far enough back from the main Victoria Avenue chaos that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise. The apartments themselves are genuinely spacious – I mean, you can actually spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your suitcase. The kitchens are properly equipped too, not just those sad little hotel kitchenettes with a broken microwave and one fork. I actually cooked breakfast a few times, which never happens when I’m traveling. The washing machine situation is a game-changer if you’re staying more than a couple nights – there’s something so satisfying about doing laundry in your own space rather than hunting down a laundromat.
What really won me over was the practical stuff that hotels often mess up. The wifi actually works (shocking, I know), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing, and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you wrestled a mattress all night. The building’s got that modern apartment feel without being sterile – you know what I mean? It’s clean and contemporary but doesn’t feel like you’re staying in a showroom. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area, but they’ve got it sorted, which honestly removes so much stress if you’re driving around Sydney. The staff at reception are genuinely helpful too – not just the scripted “how can I help you” stuff, but actually useful local knowledge. They pointed me toward this little Korean place on Albert Avenue that I never would have found otherwise.
The location really is the star here though. You’re walking distance to everything – the train line gets you to the city in about 15 minutes, there’s that massive shopping center if you need anything, and the restaurant scene in Chatswood is actually incredible if you’re into Asian food. I found myself just wandering around trying different places each night. The apartment gave me that perfect base where I could grab groceries, cook when I felt like it, or just crash after a long day exploring Sydney without feeling cramped. It’s not luxury in the fancy hotel sense, but it’s comfort in the way that actually matters when you’re traveling. For the price point and that 8.3 rating, it honestly delivers exactly what you’d want from a solid apartment stay in Sydney.

The location was great and the property presented clean and tidy. Parking, access, etc. were good.
What could be improved: It wasn't clear when booking, their check-in process which requires you to send photo ID to a personal phone number. If I had known, I would have booked another place. While it is acceptable to some people, with identity theft going on, it is not my preference to send my and my family's photo IDs (and then bank account details for refund of deposit) to a private phone number – if they get hacked or lose this data, my identity would be compromised. Perhaps Booking dot com can facilitate private owners to do ID check in a secure manner. This is the second property with this process I have experienced. Needs to be very clear under the description and 'Rules' section.Was challenging to get there by car but once parked up, and in the apartment, twas a pleasant stay. The property was clean & spacious with ensuite off main bedroom. 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, a little on the small side, ideal for kids. Short 5 minutes walk to Railway Station.
What could be improved: Road Traffic in vicinity of
Property was absolutely horrendous so allow extra 40 minutes travelling time once you reach Chatswood. Quite noisy outside at night.
