Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Parramatta over the years, but this penthouse on Church Street actually surprised me. When you step out of the elevator on the 39th floor, you’re hit with these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the entire Sydney skyline – I mean, you can see right across to the CBD and beyond. The space itself is massive, honestly bigger than most apartments I’ve lived in, with this open-plan living area that flows naturally between the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. What really got me was how quiet it is up there; you’re right in the heart of Parramatta but completely removed from the street noise below.
The kitchen is properly equipped too – not just the usual hotel kitchenette nonsense. I’m talking full-size appliances, stone countertops, and enough space to actually cook if you want to skip the restaurants downstairs. The bedroom has this hotel-luxury feel with crisp linens and blackout curtains (which you’ll appreciate since the city lights can be pretty bright at night). But honestly, you’ll probably spend most of your time in the living area just staring out at the view. During the day you can watch the Parramatta River wind through the suburbs, and at sunset the whole western Sydney sprawl lights up in this golden glow that’s actually quite stunning.
Being on Church Street puts you right in the thick of things – Westfield is literally across the road, and you’re a two-minute walk to the train station which makes getting into the city dead easy. The building itself is one of those newer high-rises that’s transformed the Parramatta skyline in recent years, so everything feels fresh and well-maintained. Parking is sorted in the building’s garage, which is a relief because street parking around there can be a nightmare, especially on weekends. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the building can get busy with other residents during peak hours, but that’s pretty standard for these newer developments. What really sets this place apart is that perfect balance – you get the luxury penthouse experience with genuine city views, but you’re not paying Sydney CBD prices for it. It’s sort of the best of both worlds if you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere special without the usual tourist trap markup.

Excellent location, amazing view of entire sydney. Everything was ideal and convinced the station was a few mins walk, westfield, movies.. all great fun.

Luxury apartment, fabulous views from all 3 bedrooms, ultimately clean, smelt fresh, price was right, loved the outdoor balcony area, full bottles of shampoo and conditioner, the whole apartment is a must visit, very spacious and comfortable.

Our 3 nights were awesome as the penthouse is comfy & cozy, many nice spots to gather with the family … breathtaking views, complete facilities which is very important as we bring Kiddos … we can cook and do our proper laundry. Station is nearby, westfield shopping center also only 5 min walks. Definitely will come back again and recommend to friends and family!
