I mean, the address puts you right in Maroubra – and before you roll your eyes thinking it’s too far from everything, hear me out. The carport thing actually matters here because street parking in this part of Sydney can be a nightmare, especially during summer when everyone’s hitting the beaches. The apartment itself is pretty solid for what it is – clean, functional, and that 9.7 rating isn’t just people being nice. The setup works well if you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just crashing in a hotel room.

Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize until they get here – you’re actually in a sweet spot. Maroubra Beach is literally a five-minute walk, and I’m talking about one of Sydney’s better surf beaches, not some touristy strip. The locals surf here, which tells you something. Plus, when you need to get into the city, you’re not stuck in some suburban maze. The CBD is maybe 20 minutes by car, and the airport? Well, that’s the real win – you can practically hear the planes (though it’s not as bad as it sounds), but more importantly, you can get there in under 15 minutes. I’ve stayed in “convenient” places that took longer to reach the airport than this supposedly out-of-the-way spot.

What I actually loved about staying here was the morning routine – grab coffee from the little strip of shops on Anzac Parade (there’s a decent café that opens early), then walk down to the beach before it gets crowded. The apartment has this practical, no-nonsense vibe that works if you’re planning to actually explore Sydney rather than just hang around your accommodation. The kitchen’s got what you need for breakfast or a quick dinner, and honestly, after spending days walking around the city or sitting on planes, having your own space to spread out feels pretty good. Sure, it’s not fancy – no concierge or room service – but for the price point and that rating, you’re getting solid value in a neighborhood that feels real. The carport might seem like a small thing, but trust me, when you’re dealing with Sydney parking and beach crowds, it’s the kind of practical detail that makes your whole trip smoother.

  The apartment was exceptionally clean and had all the facilities you could want. The bed was very comfortable and the living area was also perfect. The Netflix tv was an added extra which helped when we came home early and just needed to wind down before going to bed. The location was perfect for us as we where visiting family who lived just round the corner. But the location is also perfect for buses to the city or to the other nearby towns. The shopping centers are also nearby. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone
