You know what struck me first about this place? The name is honestly a bit of a mouthful – “Olympic Park Amazing 2 bed 2 bath Condo Parking,Wi-Fi” – but once you’re actually there, you get why they crammed all that into the title. This isn’t just another hotel room; it’s a proper two-bedroom apartment right on Australia Avenue, which means you’re literally in the heart of Sydney Olympic Park. I mean, when I say heart, I’m talking about being able to walk to ANZ Stadium (well, it’s called Accor Stadium now, but locals still call it ANZ half the time) in like ten minutes.

The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious – and I say surprisingly because Sydney accommodations can be… let’s just say compact. Two full bathrooms is actually a game-changer when you’re traveling with family or friends, trust me on this one. The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering; if you’ve ever tried to find parking around Olympic Park during an event, you’ll understand why having a guaranteed spot is basically gold. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024, but you’d be amazed how many places still struggle with this basic necessity. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays despite being so close to all the action – the building seems well-insulated, and even when there’s something happening at the stadium, it’s more of a distant hum than anything disruptive.

The location is where this place really shines, though. You’re not just staying near Olympic Park; you’re staying IN Olympic Park, which means easy access to Bicentennial Park for morning walks (the mangroves are actually pretty stunning at sunrise), and you can hop on the train at Olympic Park station to get into the city center in about 30 minutes. There’s a decent shopping center nearby too – Rhodes is just a couple of stops away if you need groceries or want to grab dinner somewhere other than the stadium food courts. The whole area has this interesting vibe where it feels suburban and peaceful most of the time, but then transforms completely when there’s a major event happening. I stayed during a quieter period and found it really relaxing, though I imagine it gets pretty lively during football season or when there’s a concert at Qudos Bank Arena. The 9.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s one of those places that just works well for what it is, without any major surprises or disappointments. If you’re planning to catch an event at Olympic Park or just want a comfortable base that’s not in the thick of Sydney’s chaos, this condo delivers exactly what you’d hope for.

  Very nice apartment, convenient stay close to stadium and arenas for events
  
  What could be improved: Had trouble getting in to the car park, works being carried out meant exit is also the entrance with no signage or guidance.Once we eventually navigated that, couldn’t find the parking space. The numbers of the car spaces make no sense. Ended up parking in a visitors space as we gave up looking for the correct space after several circuits of the car park
