The apartment-style rooms are genuinely spacious – I mean, I could actually spread out my stuff without playing Tetris with my suitcase. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either; it’s got a proper stovetop and everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Woolworths down the road instead of eating out every meal. The bed was comfortable enough, though honestly, the pillows were a bit too soft for my liking – but that’s just me being picky. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and the staff actually seemed to know the area well when I asked about nearby restaurants.

The pool area is decent for a quick dip (though it can get a bit crowded on weekends), and there’s actually parking included, which is practically a miracle in Sydney. You’re also surprisingly close to Parramatta Park if you want to go for a morning jog, and the shopping at Westfield Parramatta is just a short drive away. The 7.9 rating makes sense to me – it’s solid, reliable accommodation without any nasty surprises. I wouldn’t call it luxury, but for the price point and location, it does exactly what it promises. If you need to be in this part of Sydney for work or you’re planning day trips to the Blue Mountains (which are way more accessible from here than from the city center), this is actually a pretty smart choice.
