You know what really caught me off guard about this place? The view from those floor-to-ceiling windows actually lives up to the hype. I mean, I’ve seen plenty of “city view” apartments that basically overlook a parking lot, but from the 15th floor here, you’re genuinely looking out over Parramatta’s skyline – and on clear days, you can even make out the distant Sydney CBD towers shimmering in the distance.

The apartment itself feels properly modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. The kitchen’s got everything you’d actually want to use (decent coffee machine, thank god), and both bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays – even though you’re right on Parkes Street, the double glazing does its job well. The pool area on the rooftop is honestly where this place shines though. It’s not huge, but it’s got that infinity edge thing going on, and the deck furniture is actually comfortable enough to spend an afternoon up there. I spent way too much time just floating around up there in the evenings, watching the city lights come on.

Location-wise, you’re in that sweet spot where Parramatta actually feels liveable rather than just business-district-y. There’s a decent café called Beans & Barley about two blocks down that does proper flat whites, and the Westfield isn’t far if you need to grab essentials – though honestly, the little IGA on Church Street is closer and less of a hassle. The train station’s maybe an eight-minute walk, which is pretty reasonable, and if you’re driving, the building’s got secure parking (though the entrance ramp is a bit tight if you’ve got a larger car). One thing that surprised me was how the whole Parramatta River area has been developed – there are actually some nice walking paths along the water that most visitors don’t know about. The building manager, Sarah, was genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. She actually gave me her mobile number and responded quickly when I couldn’t figure out the air conditioning remote on the first night. Small thing, but it made a difference. The only minor gripe I’d have is that the shower pressure could be stronger, and the building’s lift gets a bit slow during peak hours, but honestly, for a 4-star place that’s priced reasonably for what you get, these are pretty minor issues.
