You know what really caught me off guard about this place? Walking into what’s technically listed as a “condo” but feels more like someone’s incredibly well-appointed apartment that they just happen to let travelers crash in. I mean, when I saw “Luxury Sydney Condo” in the booking details, I was honestly expecting something a bit more… sterile? But this spot on Goulburn Street – right in that sweet spot between Chinatown and the CBD – actually has personality.

The building itself is one of those sleek modern towers that’s popped up all over this part of Sydney, and being on level 3 means you’re high enough to avoid the street noise but not so high that waiting for the elevator becomes a thing. What really sold me was the pool situation – it’s not huge, but it’s got that infinity edge thing going on and honestly, after walking around Sydney’s hills all day, just floating there while looking out over the city lights was pretty much perfect. The gym is actually decent too, which is rare for apartment buildings. I’m talking proper equipment, not just a sad treadmill and some rusty weights.

But here’s the thing that really makes this place work – the location is just ridiculously good. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Central Station (which, let’s be real, is a game-changer for getting anywhere in Sydney), and you’ve got all of Chinatown right at your doorstep. I spent way too much money at the night markets just downstairs, and there’s this little hole-in-the-wall dumpling place on the corner that locals actually go to. The parking is covered and secure, which if you’ve ever tried to park in Sydney CBD, you’ll know is basically worth its weight in gold. I was worried about noise being so central, but the windows are actually really well insulated – I could barely hear the traffic, and trust me, Goulburn Street can get busy during rush hour. The whole setup just feels like you’re living in Sydney rather than just visiting it, if that makes sense. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself making coffee in the morning and planning your day from the balcony instead of rushing out to find breakfast somewhere.

  The property was clean, well located, had all necessary amenities and more. Very comfortable and felt safe staying here.
  
  What could be improved: The property itself was perfect! Only the TV remote was out of battery and we initially had some difficulty finding the entrance to the building as the entrance is located on Pelican Street and not Goulburn Street.
