Large 4 Bed Beachside Haven 50m to Bondi Beach
You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually in a proper residential pocket of Bondi, not crammed into the touristy chaos near Campbell Parade. Lamrock Place is this quiet little street that honestly feels more like where locals live than where visitors usually end up – which is exactly why it works so well. The house itself is one of those classic Sydney beach places that’s been done up without losing its character, and when they say 50 meters to the beach, they mean it. I timed it – about 45 seconds of walking and you’re on the sand.
The setup is pretty much perfect for a group or family who wants space to spread out. Four proper bedrooms means nobody’s fighting over who gets the couch, and the living areas actually feel lived-in rather than sterile. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you’re the type who hits the Saturday markets at Bondi Junction (which you should, by the way – better produce than the touristy stuff). What I really appreciated was the outdoor space – there’s this deck where you can sit with your morning coffee and actually hear the waves. You’re close enough to catch that salt smell in the air, but far enough from the main beach action that you won’t get woken up by late-night revelers stumbling home.
Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize – you’re positioned perfectly between the main Bondi scene and the quieter stretches toward Tamarama. Morning walks along the coastal path are incredible, and you can duck into places like Speedo’s Cafe or head up to Icebergs without dealing with the crowds that pile into the central areas. Parking can be a bit of a dance during peak summer weekends (I mean, it’s Bondi), but the street’s residential permit setup means it’s generally manageable. The house feels solid and well-maintained – none of that beach rental shabbiness you sometimes get. Air conditioning works properly, which honestly matters more than you’d think during those humid Sydney nights. If I had to nitpick, the WiFi could be stronger upstairs, but that’s pretty minor. This is the kind of place where you can actually live like a local for a week, not just crash between beach days.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
