KozyGuru / Wentworth Point / 1 Bed Waterview Apt / NWP017-1705
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of serviced apartments around Sydney, and this KozyGuru place in Wentworth Point actually surprised me – in a good way. The moment you walk into this one-bedroom unit, you’re hit with these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the water view beautifully. I mean, it’s not just marketing fluff when they say “waterview” – you’re literally looking out over Homebush Bay, and honestly, watching the ferries chug back and forth while you’re having your morning coffee is pretty damn relaxing.
The apartment itself feels thoughtfully put together, you know? Someone clearly spent time making sure everything works properly – the kitchen has decent appliances (not those tiny bar fridges you sometimes get), the shower pressure is solid, and there’s actually enough storage space for more than just a weekend bag. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, which is saying something since Wentworth Point has been developing like crazy lately. The building’s well-insulated, and being on the 17th floor means you’re above most of the construction noise that’s been plaguing some of the lower-rise places in the area.
Here’s what locals know that visitors might not – Wentworth Point is actually perfectly positioned if you want to avoid the tourist crowds but still get around easily. You’ve got the ferry wharf literally a five-minute walk away, and that takes you straight to Circular Quay or over to Pyrmont without dealing with traffic. The Rhodes shopping center is close enough for groceries or a quick meal, and if you’re heading to Olympic Park for an event, you’re basically next door. Parking was straightforward too, which honestly can make or break your Sydney experience. The building manager was pretty responsive when I had a question about the WiFi setup – small thing, but it matters when you’re trying to get work done. My only minor gripe would be that the air conditioning is a bit aggressive, but that’s easily sorted. Overall, it’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in and feel like you’re living in Sydney rather than just visiting it.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
