You know what hit me first about this place? Those ceilings – they’re genuinely high, not just marketing speak. Walking into this house on Australia Avenue, I actually stopped and looked up. There’s something about spacious rooms that immediately makes you exhale, especially after being cramped in planes and cars. The six beds are spread across the space thoughtfully, not just crammed in to maximize headcount. I mean, you could easily fit a large family or group of friends without anyone feeling like they’re sleeping in a closet.

But honestly, the real winner here is that private garden. Sydney Olympic Park isn’t exactly known for intimate outdoor spaces – it’s all massive venues and concrete – so having this little green sanctuary feels like finding a secret. You can actually hear birds in the morning instead of just traffic, which is rare around here. The parking situation is legitimately one minute away, and I’m not exaggerating like most listings do. When you’re staying near ANZ Stadium (well, Accor Stadium now, but locals still call it ANZ), decent parking is gold. During event days, the surrounding streets turn into absolute chaos, but you’re tucked away enough to avoid the worst of it while still being close enough to walk over.

The 8.6 rating makes sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the Shangri-La, but it delivers on what it promises. The location is actually perfect if you’re here for events or exploring the Olympic precinct. Bicentennial Park is a short walk away, and there’s something oddly peaceful about wandering around where the Olympics happened. The house itself feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciate. You’ll find little touches that show someone actually cares about the place – decent coffee setup, proper hangers (not those useless hotel ones), and the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the space. The neighborhood gets quiet at night, except when there’s something big happening at the stadium, but even then it’s more of a distant hum than anything disruptive. If you’re planning to be here during football season or major concerts, book early – this kind of setup with actual parking and space for groups gets snapped up quickly.

  楼下和附近都有不少点评不错的餐厅咖啡馆，也有小超市，很方便；
  房间宽敞，卫生整洁；
  
  What could be improved: 床不够舒适，以我所住过的酒店和民宿来说，床有点简陋，枕头尤其不够舒适，没有支撑性，希望能够改进，哪怕换成kmart的枕头都会更好；
  浴室应该增配一块地巾，以避免洗澡之后出来弄湿地砖；
  
  有电视机但没有有线电视，也不是智能电视能看YouTube或者nexflix，虽然我们也没有看电视的需求；
  
  厨房没有提供茶包，如果能配备一些厨房用纸和茶巾会更方便，
  
  但是总体上还是不错的，物有所值；
