Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Sydney Harbor, and honestly? Most of them promise “stunning views” and deliver a sliver of blue water between two apartment blocks. Heatherbrae II is not one of those places. When they say harbor bridge views, they mean you’re going to wake up, walk to the window, and just… wow. The bridge is right there, massive and gorgeous, especially when the morning light hits those steel arches. I mean, you’re literally in Kirribilli – this is prime real estate territory where locals pay millions just to glimpse what you’re looking at over your morning coffee.

The apartment itself has that lived-in quality that actually works in its favor. It’s not some sterile hotel room with generic art on the walls. Instead, it feels like you’re staying in someone’s well-loved Sydney home, complete with those little touches that make you comfortable – proper kitchen gear if you want to cook (and you might, considering how expensive harbor-side dining gets), decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and windows that actually open so you can hear the harbor sounds. The furnishings are a bit mixed – some pieces clearly newer than others – but everything’s clean and functional. What really got me was the balcony space. You know how most Sydney accommodations give you this tiny ledge they call a balcony? Here you’ve got room to actually sit outside with a drink and watch the ferries chugging back and forth to Circular Quay.

Getting around from here is ridiculously easy, though I should mention the walk back from Milsons Point station is a bit of a climb – nothing too brutal, but you’ll feel it if you’re hauling luggage. The Kirribilli markets are basically around the corner when they’re running, and you can walk to some genuinely good cafes along Broughton Street that tourists haven’t discovered yet. Parking can be tricky (welcome to Sydney), but honestly, once you’re here, you barely need a car. The ferry to the city takes maybe ten minutes, and there’s something pretty magical about commuting to your tourist activities via harbor ferry with the Opera House sliding past your window. The 8.3 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury hotel perfect, but it delivers on what matters most: location, comfort, and those views that make you understand why people fall in love with Sydney in the first place.

  The views were phenomenal! The location was spot on
  
  What could be improved: The property was not clean. The bedding was dirty and the mattress has blood stains. I requested a refund or discount and was ignored. They provided a WhatsApp number for any issues which was disconnected. I was forced to go shopping for new bedding after a 11hr drive which thankfully, I was at the least re-embursed for those.
