You know what caught me off guard about this place? It’s actually a proper house, not some cramped apartment rental like half the listings you see these days. The moment I walked into this 3-bedroom spot on Burwood Road, I could tell someone put real thought into making guests comfortable – there’s this lived-in warmth that’s hard to fake.

The star of the show is definitely that large balcony they mention. I mean, I’ve stayed in places where “balcony” means a glorified fire escape, but this one’s the real deal. Perfect for your morning coffee while watching Burwood wake up, or honestly just escaping when you need five minutes of peace. The street can get a bit busy during rush hour – Burwood Road’s one of those thoroughfares that locals actually use – but by evening it settles into this nice suburban rhythm. I found myself spending way more time out there than I expected, especially in the late afternoon when the light hits just right.

What really works here is the space. Three bedrooms means you’re not playing Tetris with everyone’s luggage, and there’s actually room to spread out in the living areas. The kitchen’s well-stocked too – I was able to whip up a proper breakfast instead of surviving on hotel coffee and sad pastries. Burwood’s got this great mix of authentic Asian food and regular suburban conveniences, so you can grab fresh groceries from the Asian markets on Burwood Road or hit up the bigger shopping center if you need something specific. The train station’s close enough that you can hear it if you’re really listening, but it never bothered me – actually kind of nice knowing you can get into the city center in about 20 minutes when you want to.

Parking was straightforward, which honestly surprised me given how tight some Sydney neighborhoods can be. The host had clear instructions and didn’t make me jump through hoops during check-in – always a good sign. I’d say this place works best if you’re traveling with family or a group of friends who want somewhere comfortable to decompress between Sydney adventures. It’s got that sweet spot vibe where you feel like you’re living in a real neighborhood instead of being stuck in tourist-land, but you’re still connected enough to get wherever you need to go without drama.

  Great location, very clean and easy to access
  
  What could be improved: Property wasnt comfortable to stay in, there was no lounge to sit and relax, had to sit in dining chairs to watch TV, a toaster would have been good as well.
  Limited seats on the verandah as well, just need those little extra touches and it would be perfect
