I mean, you might catch some weekend street chatter, but nothing that decent windows can’t handle. What really sold me was how walkable everything is from here. Hyde Park is right there when you need green space, the city’s an easy stroll, and (this is key) you can actually get to both Kings Cross and Paddington without dealing with public transport. The front desk staff clearly know the neighborhood – they pointed me toward this little coffee spot on Liverpool Street that I never would have found otherwise.
The rooms themselves feel more like a friend’s well-appointed apartment than a hotel room, which I suspect is exactly what they were going for.
