Chatswood CBD 2BR l Balcony l Parking l Office
Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Sydney, and this spot on Archer Street honestly surprised me. You know what struck me first? The fact that they actually give you a proper parking space – and I mean, in Chatswood CBD, that’s basically like finding gold. The apartment itself is more spacious than you’d expect from the photos, with this decent-sized balcony where you can actually sit with your morning coffee and watch the city wake up without feeling like you’re perched on a ledge.
The location is pretty clever, actually. You’re literally a two-minute walk from the Chatswood train station, which means you can be in the city in about 15 minutes without dealing with traffic or parking nightmares. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize – you’re also walking distance to Westfield Chatswood, sure, but more importantly, you’re near all these great little Korean and Japanese places along the back streets that locals actually go to. The office space they mention isn’t just marketing fluff either; it’s a proper setup with decent wifi and a door you can close, which came in handy when I had to jump on calls during my stay.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being right in the CBD. The building seems well-insulated, and honestly, after spending time in some of those older Sydney apartments where you hear every footstep upstairs, this felt like a sanctuary. The two bedrooms are genuinely comfortable – not just “travel comfortable” but actually comfortable, with proper blackout curtains that’ll let you sleep in if you want. The kitchen is well-equipped too, though I’ll be honest, with all the food options within walking distance, I mostly just used it for breakfast and late-night snacks. The 8.7 rating makes sense when you add it all up – it’s not trying to be fancy or Instagram-perfect, but it nails the practical stuff that actually matters when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. Plus, the whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward waiting around in lobbies or hunting for key cards that don’t work.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
