Well, this one actually delivered. The building’s pretty modern – nothing fancy from the outside, but once you’re up on the 2nd floor, it’s got this clean, minimalist vibe that just works.

What really sold me was the location. I mean, you’re literally in the thick of Parramatta, which people either love or hate, but hear me out. You can walk to Westfield in about three minutes (dangerous for your wallet, great for grabbing coffee or groceries), and the train station is maybe a five-minute stroll. The apartment faces away from the main George Street chaos, so you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise – though you’ll still hear the occasional late-night reveler on weekends. The bed was actually comfortable, which is more than I can say for some four-star hotels I’ve crashed in.

Here’s what I really appreciated: the kitchen is small but functional, and there’s a decent-sized fridge if you want to store leftovers from all the good Lebanese and Indian places nearby. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed – good water pressure, which honestly makes or breaks a stay for me. Parking was a bit of a puzzle at first (street parking fills up fast during business hours), but the host sent clear instructions about the nearby council car park. The whole check-in process was smooth – keypad entry, so no awkward waiting around for someone to let you in. One tiny thing that bugged me was the lack of proper blackout curtains, so if you’re sensitive to early morning light, maybe pack an eye mask. But honestly, for the price point and that 9.5 rating, this place delivers. It’s not trying to be luxury – it’s just a solid, clean spot that gets the job done in one of Sydney’s most connected suburbs.

  We stayed long-term in this apartment (3 weeks). The location was well-connected by 2 train stations in walkable distance. Nice spacious and well-lit apartment on the 2nd floor with 4 lifts. Bill is very accommodating and addresses all your needs or issues that you point out very promptly. We asked for an early check-in and Bill had earlier said if there were no guests the previous night or if the apartment became available and ready we could check in early. As promised we did get the apartment at 11 am.
  
  What could be improved: Noisy even at night due to the train and a major arterial road next to the apartment. The carpets seem to be dirty and one in front of the TV had popcorns of previous guests. Hob exhaust wasn't working but Bill offered to replace the same once I pointed out the problem to him. Pots and pans were all scratched up and once I requested Bill replaced them. No parking is available in the apartment but Wilson parking is available on this street. Didn't need parking except on the last day when we rented a car. Thankfully we were able to find street parking to load our luggage.
