Broad Land Premium Apartments Chatswood Sydney
You know what caught me off guard about Broad Land Premium Apartments? It’s tucked away on Archer Street, which honestly feels like a bit of a hidden gem in Chatswood. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the train station and Westfield, but the street itself is surprisingly quiet for being so central. The building has that clean, modern apartment vibe ā not flashy, but you can tell they’ve put thought into the details.
The apartments themselves are actually quite spacious, which is refreshing after staying in some of Sydney’s shoebox hotels. I particularly loved the kitchen setup ā it’s not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation, but a proper kitchen where you could actually cook if you wanted to. The living areas have floor-to-ceiling windows that let in heaps of natural light, and if you’re lucky enough to get a higher floor, you’ll catch glimpses of the city skyline. The beds are comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s decent storage space, which matters when you’re staying more than a night or two. One small thing ā the air conditioning can be a bit noisy, but honestly, after a day exploring Sydney, I slept right through it.
What really makes this place work is the location, though I hate using that word because every hotel claims it. But seriously ā Chatswood is this perfect middle ground where you feel like you’re in a proper Sydney neighborhood without the tourist chaos of the CBD. The train zips you into the city in about 20 minutes, and there’s something satisfying about coming back to an area where locals actually live and work. Plus, if you’re into Asian food (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?), you’re in the right spot ā there’s incredible Korean BBQ and Japanese places within walking distance. The Concourse performing arts center is right there too, which I didn’t expect to love but ended up catching a show. Parking can be a bit tricky during busy periods, but the building has secure parking if you’re driving, and the staff at check-in were genuinely helpful about navigating the area. It’s got that 8.5 rating for good reason ā everything works well without trying too hard to impress, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
