Belmore Brand new renovated 3Br house AC & Parking
You know what caught me off guard about this place on Cleary Avenue? The moment I walked in, it actually felt like someone’s home – not in that awkward “you’re intruding” way, but like you’re staying with a friend who happens to have impeccable taste. The Belmore renovation is seriously fresh, and I mean that literally – there’s still that clean, new smell mixed with what I think was eucalyptus from the trees outside. It’s one of those three-bedroom setups that makes you wonder why you ever stay in cramped hotel rooms.
The location thing is pretty clever, honestly. Belmore isn’t exactly where tourists usually end up, but that’s sort of the point – you’re in this quiet residential pocket that feels authentically Sydney without the tourist chaos. I could walk to the local shops on Burwood Road in about ten minutes, and there’s this little Vietnamese place around the corner that the neighbors clearly love (always packed on weekends). The train station is close enough that getting into the city center takes maybe twenty minutes, but far enough that you don’t hear the rumble at night. And can we talk about the parking situation? Actually having a guaranteed spot in Sydney is like winning the lottery – I didn’t have to circle blocks or stress about meter money.
The AC was a lifesaver during my stay in February (summer here hits different than back home), and each bedroom has its own unit so nobody fights over temperature. The kitchen is where they really nailed it though – proper appliances, not those tiny apartment-sized things, and enough counter space to actually cook if you want to hit the weekend markets. I mean, the whole house has this lived-in comfort that you just can’t fake. Sure, it’s not some fancy five-star situation with room service and a concierge, but honestly? After a day of exploring Sydney, coming back to a quiet street where you can hear the kookaburras in the morning and spread out like a normal human being – that’s worth way more than hotel amenities you never use anyway. The rating makes sense too; it’s genuinely well done without being pretentious about it.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
