The street itself is pretty quiet, tucked away in what feels like a residential pocket, and you’d almost miss the entrance if you weren’t looking for it. But that’s actually part of the charm, you know? It’s like discovering this little sanctuary that most tourists probably walk right past.

The infinity pool is genuinely the star here, and I mean that without any of the usual travel brochure nonsense. When you’re floating there in the evening – and trust me, evening is when you want to be in that pool – you get this view that just sort of melts into the horizon. The bamboo screening around the property creates this natural buffer from the street noise, which honestly surprised me because Sydney can get pretty loud. I spent way too much time just lounging there with a book, listening to the gentle rustling of the bamboo when the breeze picked up. There’s something almost meditative about it, especially if you time it right and avoid the afternoon sun (it gets intense around 2-3 PM).

The rooms themselves are solid four-star territory – nothing that’ll blow your mind, but everything works and feels thoughtfully put together. The bamboo theme carries through without being heavy-handed about it, and the beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses, so this matters). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night. You’re close enough to the city that you can easily grab an Uber or catch public transport, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with sirens or late-night street noise. Parking was straightforward too – there’s a small lot that never seemed completely full when I was there, though I’d imagine weekends might be different. The staff knows the area well, and they pointed me toward this little café about a ten-minute walk away that I never would have found otherwise. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and they actually remembered my name by the second day, which is rarer than it should be. The whole place has this laid-back vibe that makes you want to slow down a bit – whether that’s your thing or not probably depends on what you’re looking for, but after a few days of Sydney’s usual pace, I found it pretty refreshing.

  Nice and cozy space. Very friendly and supportive host. There are lots of restaurants just downstair, very convenient.
