Hotel Description
You know what surprised me about Belle’s at Bondi? It actually feels like a proper apartment, not one of those sterile vacation rentals where you’re afraid to touch anything. I mean, sure, it’s on Curlewis Street which sounds fancy, but honestly it’s just this quiet residential road that most tourists never discover – and that’s exactly why I loved it there.
The two-bedroom setup is genuinely spacious, which is saying something in Sydney where most places feel like glorified closets. What really got me was how they’ve furnished it – there’s actual character here, not just IKEA basics thrown together. The kitchen’s big enough that you can actually cook a proper meal (trust me, you’ll want to after seeing Bondi cafe prices), and the living area has this comfortable, lived-in feeling. The bedrooms are well thought out too – the master’s got decent storage and the second bedroom isn’t just an afterthought with a single bed shoved in the corner.
But here’s the thing about the location that really matters: yes, it’s 500 meters to the beach, but more importantly, you’re far enough from Campbell Parade to avoid the weekend chaos while still being close enough to walk to everything. I’d usually grab coffee at the little place on Hall Street in the mornings – way better than the tourist traps near the beach – then wander down to Bondi when I felt like it. The walk’s actually nice, takes you through some of those classic Bondi streets with the old apartment blocks and established trees. You get a real feel for how locals actually live here, not just the Instagram version everyone sees.
Parking was easier than I expected (there’s a spot included, which honestly saves you about $30 a day), and the building itself is quiet – no party crowds stumbling home at 3am like you get closer to the beach. The neighbors seemed like actual residents, not just other tourists, which made the whole experience feel more authentic. Check-in was straightforward too, none of that awkward waiting around for someone to show up with keys.
I’ll be honest, the apartment doesn’t have those fancy hotel touches – no turndown service or daily housekeeping – but that’s actually what made it work for me. It felt like I was staying at a friend’s place who happened to have really good taste and lived in one of Sydney’s best neighborhoods. The WiFi was solid (important when you’re trying to work remotely), and having a proper washing machine meant I could pack light and do laundry as needed.
The area gets busy during summer weekends, sure, but even then you’re tucked away enough that it’s not overwhelming. And honestly, being able to walk to Bondi Beach in five minutes while having a quiet place to retreat to? That’s exactly the balance you want. Plus, you’re close enough to catch the bus into the city easily, or just explore the coastal walk to Coogee when you’re feeling ambitious. It’s the kind of place where you can actually imagine living, not just visiting – and that made all the difference.

Location was brilliant and the apartment was stunning. Owner was lovely and extremely helpful when we didn’t have hot water for one night giving us a discount off her own back.
What could be improved: A bit tight for 2 couples with only one bathroom but worked pretty well.Perfect inside and out! – Anonymous from Australia – 29 May 2025 (10/10)
Beautifully furnished with everything you could need for a little trip away. Amazing location, somehow both close to the beach and lovely and peaceful as well – nearby amenities great with just a short walk for a shop / dinner. Comfiest bed I’ve slept in in a long time as well!

Beautiful location and decor, spotlessly clean and all the staff were superb. A lesson in good customer service. We couldn’t fault this from start to finish.
